AI Brush Landscape #1

This is the first piece of this series; I wanted to create a series of pieces using an AI drawing tool as the starting point. I was particularly drawn to a sort of drone view of the landscape. I quite like how the tree blends with the lake and how the river mutates and disappears on the horizon.

About this series

I am exploring the ethical use of Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to generate landscape images from brush strokes. Unlike text-to-image generation tools, this approach offers direct control over the composition, resulting in images that resemble collages more than photographic realism. This technique allows me to create reference images based on visual aesthetics that closely align with imaginary landscapes.
