Peter Lanyon

"He was a British painter and sculptor, he had interest in abstract expressionism, he was really influenced by Ben Nicholson, Barbara Hepworth and Naum Gabo. He described some of his later works as 'experiments in space to establish the illusion and the content of space in painting

My interest:

I really like the possibility of approaching a painting from different angles, it changes the way one can "read" the piece of art, Also the concept of an hybrid between painting and sculpture.
